Since Max won’t be as active on this blog, several changes will be made. First, I’ve retitled the blog “Exploring Baseball Data with R” to make the blog more about using R for baseball explorations, and less about the recent CRC book.
Second, and more important, I’m inviting two great people to contribute to this blog. Ben Baumer, coauthor of the openWAR R package, and Carson Sievert, author of the pitchRx package, have agreed to share posts. These two packages facilitate the scraping of MLBAM Gameday data, and they will be discussing some exciting new developments in the coming months.
